Competitve Siblings

Many years ago when we all were younger Than we all are now
We were at an age where
It did not matter everything was a
Damn competitive competition.

If anything I have learned from older Siblings as the baby of the family
Sometimes it is just better to
Make Yourself happy and
Not try to prove to anyone your worth it…

Trying to keep my siblings together
After a hard impacting divorce
I wanted to try to have friendly competition.

It Did not matter how hard I would try
Technically it did not matter what grade
I received, they always did better simply because they were in a higher grade.

I could of had An A like a 94% on a test but yet if they brought home a 92% or so they did better because they are on a higher grade. To be honest with myself because of the sibling competition and the divorce, feeling undermined anyway I would go I started slacking off in classes I just didn't care that much about or at the time I didn't think I needed.

As a sibling a little friendly competition never hurt anyone but when it goes to far and you start not caring anymore it changes you. It changes your heart in a way that as a child you never would have thought would have happened.

Competitive Siblings can be a good thing but in my case it wasn't good for me. It was actually bad for me, but then again I got blamed for my parents divorce so apparently being the baby of the family puts an unseen target on my back or atleast it did 20 years ago.
